Meet Water's New Ambassadors: H2O Jo and Flo

We drink it, flush it, bathe in it, swim in it and more. Water - a precious resource most of us take for granted. Now water has a voice to remind us that we have a role in keeping water clean.

Common sources of contaminants such as pet waste, lawn and garden products, paint, and vehicle maintenance products, if not handled properly, can threaten our waters every day.  Watch for H2O Jo’s and Flo’s resounding message, “Keep it clean, 'cause we're all downstream!” and learn how you can help keep our waters clean.

H2O Jo and Flo are part of a water quality communications campaign developed by the city of Boulder with funding provided by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment through grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
